When trying to create a new application based on the Symbaloo API a couple of references are not to be missed. Therefore we have set up out Developer website. Go have a look: http://developer.symbaloo.com

  • First get yourself a API key for your application on: Apply for an API Key
  • Then dive into the world of OAuth authentication in order to understand how users can grant your application access to their Symbaloo data. Find all information here: OAuth information
  • You might use a programming library that helps you connect: OAuth Libraries
  • When connected you can use our services: API Documentation
  • Or try it directly online: Try it online

The new API has been released!
As of April 5th 2012 we have released a new version of the Symbaloo API.

A number of improvements were made in order to make it easier for developers to start using the API.

The documentation has been updated and is available at: http://developer.sym...umentation.html

Feel free to post your questions.

Happy coding!

What depth of developer abilities do you need? I'm looking to do homepages for my kids' homeschool. I'd like to do something like child's page/day of the week/ lessons . I'd like to be able to do links, pdf, swf, and png. My abilities are basically limited to http://www.w3schools.com/ . It's a cut and paste HTML interactive tutorial. Should I try it or would I be in over my head?
